Do you think it is possible to paint around a mirror?

I would like to paint my bathroom. But the large mirror I fear is glued to the wall. I don't want a huge mess. Thinking of just painting around it. What do you think?Do you think it is possible to paint around a mirror?
I paint houses and paint around mirrors all the time in bathrooms...really large mirrors at that.





Don't waste your money on painters tape. Have a damp rag or damp paper towel handy while painting and if you get a spot on the mirror, immediately wipe it off before it dries.Do you think it is possible to paint around a mirror?
you can do it. my mom thinks when its time to paint i should do it. and i have done it before so it will work, just try not to get it on the mirror and no one will ever know. i just painted around everything in the kitchen and told my mom i was done lol, it was a joke but then i went back and did all those space expect one .. lol.. the stove i so did not want to move it. so its painted around and you cant tell it, unless you move it.. it will work. just make sure if you get any on the mirror to wipe it off before it drys.
Just tape what you don`t want painted. Make sure u use painters tape as another type might take off wall covering.
Sure....just tape round the edges of the mirror/frame, and go for it !
Paint around it.... Tape the edges if necessary.....





I'm fixing to do our 2nd bathroom; I did the other one in December. I just used the blue painter's tape and taped anything that I didn't want paint on and I went at it. THe bathroom looks a lot nicer and it was pretty easy. The hardest part for me... is cleaning the walls first. We're smokers and the smoke makes a mess on the walls. Soooo, cleaning first is a must. That's a pain......
a very easy way to paint around windows or mirrors is to lightly wet a piece of newspaper and put it over the glass, right to the edge. then you can paint around it without getting any on the glass then when paint is dry just re wet the paper to remove.
I once painted a woman's house and her husband had ( years before) painted around the furniture....couch, chairs pictures.


It never ceases to amaze that a woman can paint their nails without getting paint on her skin but has to tape off a window
Use masking tape to hold newspaper over the mirror and cover the mirror completely then paint to your hearts delight
You can take some painters tape and tape the mirror off. Painting around the mirror is what sometimes needs to be done.
