If you only know 1 just tell me 1.

thank you in advanceWhat is the best thing 2 get tarmac, paint and candle wax off a carpet?
petrol with a match in a safe area then buy a new oneWhat is the best thing 2 get tarmac, paint and candle wax off a carpet?
not sure about tarmac, but i know this sounds stupid, but try a wet-wipe!!! got loads of stuff off my carpet!! and it can't do it any harm.
Sorry, no suggestions on paint and tarmac, but the candle wax is something I've dealt with.

Step 1: make sure the wax is really cold - use an ice cube to freeze it.

Step 2: that should make it easier to pick it off with your fingers and...

Step 3: then when you've go any big bits up, scrape upwards along the carpet strands with a non-serated (not too sharp knife).

Step 4: lay a double layer of brown paper over it.

Step 5: Iron over the brown paper which will suck up the remaining wax. You may have to repeat this bit several times, constantly moving the paper sothat a new bit is over the wax. Make sure that you don't directly iron the carpet and do start with the iron on a relatively low heat so you can check that you are not damaging the carpet.
get new carpet, it will cost more to clean it then get new ones, and pour gas on old one, light it and stand back
Candle wax: you will need CLEAN paper towels and an iron, but don't burn your carpet... Place a towel over the wax stain, and use the iron to heat it up through the towel. The wax melts and sticks to/ absorbs into the towel. You may have to repeat a few times to get every trace, but it's the only thing I've found that doesn't make a bigger mess. I wouldn't recommend chemicals, but they do exist for ';wax removal.';

Paint/Tarmac: scissors?
Candle wax: Cover it with a sheet of blotting paper (kitchen paper works just as well, but don't use newspaper) and go over it with a hot iron. The wax will melt and soak into the paper.

Tarmac and paint. If they are new, you can usually shift them with a cloth soaked in white spirit. If they have dried, you need a new carpet.
The candle wax solution I won't bother to repeat, but can guarantee you it does work.

As for the tar...you can try a product called Goo Gone..it may also work on the paint. Soak the area and leave sit for 5 to 10 min. The with a small comb or other item, brush thru the area, and follow with a good scrubbing. Test this in an inconspicuous are to see if it fades the carpet first.
Turpentine for tar and paint then clean with carpet shampoo and ice cubes for wax (also chewing gum)
a new carpet
Bloody hell that sounds like it was some party!

I dont think anything will get paint off without ruining the carpet, same with tarmac
Tarmac is asphalt petroleum based and can be broken down with butter. Candle wax is more tricky but if you cover the wax with blotting paper and gently warm it with a domestic iron it will transfer to the blotting paper.
