What color to paint walls when floor is green laminate?

Help me decide what color to paint the bathroom walls in my parents home. The flooring is patterned laminate in that 70's avocado-green color! Changing the laminate is NOT an option for them, unfortunately, so I'm going to have to work with that color. Any suggestions? And oh, I am not looking for anything fancy... just a simple semi-gloss wall paint... in a color that will compliment the flooring color.

a very very pale mint or apple green with white accessories... or white walls and pale green towels... you could go ivory or cream too, but with the green floor you're pretty stuck as there aren't many colours to match with it

hope it looks great when you're done xxWhat color to paint walls when floor is green laminate?
Paint the walls white or off-white and use accessories to add the color. They have such beautiful shower curtains, garbage cans, soap dishes, etc. in stores now that if you spent the money on these things, I think you would have a very nice end product.
i would go with white; if not maybe a very pale yellow or green.
You know, you could paint the floor.

1- Apply a bonding primer so the paint will stick to the smooth surface of the floor.

2- Paint with an acrylic or latex paint

3- Top with 2-3 coats of marine grade sealant.

First paint it a lighter color then use a sponge or any other tool to apply a darker paint in a tile pattern. You can even sponge on a coupleof different tones of a color to make it look more like a real tile. The first lighter coat makes your grout lines between your tiles.
