Just wondering, how long does it take for spray paint to dry? I'm in England and I'm talking about spray paint on wall not on any other surface. I don't know if humidity comes into the equasion? Cheers.How long does it take for spray paint to dry?
depending on the type of spray paint acrylic/metallic/ etc. the time varies. It should be listed on the label of the paint can and humidity always plays a part as does air flow (wind). Give it a good hour if you can.
If in question, do a spot test somewhere else unseen on a similar surface and touch test for the tackiness till you think you can safely touch it without smudging. most cans say 24 hours for total curing. layers will also affect it. the thicker, the longer it will take.. if at all ever.
