How can I easily and cheaply remove paint from wood cupboard doors?

What I was trying was a product called Klean-Strip After Wash, but its not doing very good, is expensive and uses alot for just one cupboard door. How can I easily and cheaply remove paint from wood cupboard doors?
Remove the doors (unscrew the hinges) and use a palm sander to sand the paint off. A palm sander costs around fifty dollars, but you can use it for other projects or re-sell it somewhere. If you have a lot of grooves you can still use paint stripper or try to get the paint out with pieces of sandpaper.
