What paint on product should I use to weather-proof outside cat house?

I'm building a small wooden house for one of the local strays that could use some place to get out of foul weather. What paint on product should I use to weather-proof outside cat house?
David,

there's lots of stuff that you can use to weather-proof outdoors, but just a good exterior paint would probably be the best thing for you to use. Nothing fancy, and not too expensive.

good luck, and as a cat-lover myself, thanks for having a kind heart! What paint on product should I use to weather-proof outside cat house?
You'd be doing that cat a better favor by getting a cat trap from your local animal control officers and turning the cat over to them. They will be sure the animal has no diseases and try to find it a home. Providing shelter for a roaming cat only encourages breeding more roaming cats that endanger birds and other wildlife. In my neighborhood, for instance, they usually become breakfast for coyotes.
any exterior enamel paint will work ,

if you have a big lots store near by they sell it cheaper,

brand names are just that, a Name, paint is made at a factory, and different labels are put on, the cans with the same paint in it,
oh that kind of cat house. Any good paint like Behr or Dutch Boy is good. Prime it at least once first.
