What can other techniqes or other designs, tips or tricks can i use to paint my bathrrom?

I want to paint my bathroom, it's small and dark and i would like to paint it tiffany blue and chocolate brown, but i want it to interesting i was thinking big stripes or a diamond pattern. I would like more ideas.What can other techniqes or other designs, tips or tricks can i use to paint my bathrrom?
The trick to any small room that you want to make appear bigger is to go brighter. the darker the color the smaller the room will appear. do uneven stripes, example. 3'; stripe then 1'; then 2'; then3';. altornating brown blue and one other color or paint with blue and trim with brown. or vs. With a white sink toilet and tub it will stand out!!!Just make sure the floor isnt dark if you paint brown, you on want to box our self in. good look!! since it is a small room, i think brown would be too dark for it except maybe just for trim.also, big stripes would would make room feel or look even smaller. go with light!very tiny wall decor.
I have a very small bathroom. I painted the top half peach and the bottom half beige, then I used a border that incorporated both colors in the middle.
